Education

Freeborn County is served by five public school districts and two private schools. Your children's needs can be met through excellent curriculum and a host of complementary school activities. The Albert Lea Area Schools and the Alden-Conger School District have recently invested in new buildings for their Senior High School facilities. State of the Art - with a manageable class size - the best of both worlds!

For post-secondary education, Riverland Community College, Albert Lea Campus, offers numerous programs ranging from certification to masters degrees through partnerships with Southwest State University.

An active Community Education program also provides programming for lifelong learning.
