Freeborn County Communities

Hollandale

Hollandale is located in the northeast part of Freeborn County, just off of I-35. The community was developed as farmland, after its 15,000 acres of swampland were drained in 1923. The Hollandale Christian School is known for its excellent faith-based education for young students in kindergarten through 8th grade. The Hollandale Marketing Association is a marketer of agricultural products that are grown by area farmers.
