21st Annual Ag Luncheon - Albert Lea-Freeborn County Agricultural Committee

The Albert Lea – Freeborn County Chamber of Commerce Agricultural Committee is pleased to announce that the 21st Annual Agriculture Luncheon is scheduled for Noon to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Fairlane Building at the Freeborn County Fairgrounds.

Join us as we announce the 47th Freeborn County Farm Family of the Year! The annual Agricultural Luncheon is a heartfelt tribute to those who tirelessly cultivate our lands and nourish our communities. As part of this annual meeting, the Chamber’s Agriculture Committee selects and recognizes the Freeborn County Farm Family of the Year and Farm Families of years past.

Nominations Open We are currently accepting applications for the 2026 Farm Family of the Year nominations. To be nominated, the Farm Family must be Minnesota food producers actively involved in agricultural production with one or more agricultural enterprises or have made significant short-term progress and/or innovative contributions with their agricultural endeavors. Winners are selected based on their commitment to enhancing and supporting the fields of agriculture and production and their involvement in their communities.

Farm family nominations will be accepted through Tuesday, February 10th.

Guest Speaker This year’s event will feature guest speaker Adam Birr, Ph.D., Executive Director of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
